Privacy Policy
Prop Edge by the Numbers (“Prop Edge”, “we”, “us”) publishes statistical analysis and commentary about Major League Baseball player performance. This policy explains what information we do and do not handle.
01Who we are
Prop Edge by the Numbers is an independent content project operated by an individual in the United States. We publish to our own social accounts (including @PropsEdgeBTN on X) and to pages we host ourselves.

02Information we collect
From you, directly: nothing. Our hosted pages contain no forms, sign-ups, logins, payment flows, or comment fields. We do not ask you for personal information and have no way to receive it other than if you email us voluntarily.
Automatically, by our host: our pages are served through Cloudflare, which automatically records standard technical request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested file) for delivery, abuse prevention, and security. We do not use these logs to build profiles or identify individuals.
Cookies and trackers: pages we host set no cookies and load no analytics, advertising, or social-tracking scripts. Our pages load web fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the request as part of serving the font file.
If you email us: we receive your email address and whatever you write, and keep it only as long as needed to respond.
03Sports data we ingest
Our models are built from publicly available sports statistics — principally the MLB Stats API operated by MLB Advanced Media — and from publicly posted sportsbook prices. This is data about professional athletes’ on-field performance and about betting markets. It is not personal data about our audience, and we do not combine it with any information about you.
04Social platform integrations
We publish automatically to accounts we ourselves own on third-party platforms (X, and, where enabled, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube). To do this we hold API credentials issued to us for our own accounts.
- Those credentials authorize posting to our own accounts only.
- They do not give us access to your account, your profile, your messages, or your data.
- We do not collect, store, or process information about people who view, follow, like, or comment on our posts, beyond what is publicly visible on the platform itself.
- We request the narrowest permissions each platform offers for publishing content.
Your activity on those platforms is governed by each platform’s own privacy policy, not this one.
05How we use information
- To deliver, secure, and troubleshoot our pages and posts.
- To publish our own content to our own social accounts.
- To comply with legal obligations and platform API requirements.
We do not use information for advertising, profiling, scoring, or automated decisions about individuals. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
06Who we share with
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage, and content delivery for our pages and media.
- Social platforms — X, Meta (Facebook / Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, where our content is published at our direction.
- Google Fonts — serves typefaces used on our pages.
- Legal — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
07Retention and security
Technical request logs are retained by our host for a short operational period. API credentials are stored in restricted local configuration, are never committed to public source control, and are rotated when they may have been exposed. All traffic to our pages is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we hold effectively no personal information about our audience, the honest answer to most such requests will be that we hold nothing about you. You are welcome to ask — contact us at the address in section 01 and we will respond within the time your law allows. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.
09Children
Our content concerns sports betting markets and is intended for adults only — 21+ or the legal age where you are. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (or under 16 where that is the applicable threshold). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10International transfers
We operate from the United States and use US-based service providers with globally distributed infrastructure. If you access our content from outside the US, the technical data described above may be processed in the United States.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page.
12A reminder about our content
Prop Edge publishes analysis and entertainment, not gambling advice. We are not a sportsbook, we accept no wagers, and we handle no funds. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
